"You are the US Army Lieutenant William Holt, hand-picked by William"Wild Bill" Donovan to be among the first feild agents of the newly formed Office of Strategic Services-the OSS. Your missions will take you through daring commando raids, brutal winter conflicts, and historic battles as you become the driving force in the struggle to liberate Europe."
The graphics could have been sharper and less polished but they're not that bad overall. The weapons are the most authentic by far, nothing was left out. The background scenery is descent, the houses look battle-worn and torn apart. Overall, I give the graphics a seven out of ten.
The sound is the best aspect of this game. If you were to hook it up to surround sound, it would be just like fighting in an actual war. When you walk through piles of rubble, you can hear the bricks and stones moving under your feet. You can even hear the leaves crunch under your feet. The gun shots make an awsome sound. The snipers make an echoing effect while the machine guns sound great also. Sound gets a ten out of ten.
Here are the general controls for this game.(L) is for zooming in.(R) is for firing your weapon.(B) is for crouching.(A) is to reload your gun. (Z) is for a melee attack. There are four main areas of single player mode. You start out in St.Nazaire, Germany. Then you must complete four missions within St. Nazaire. Next, you move on to North Africa where you will complete two extremly long missions. After that you go to Russia and complete another two missions. Lastly, you fight in a battle for four short missions. After all this, you win. So the game can take a while to beat.
I'd say it's one of those must have games for the gamecube. It has great multiplayer for up to four players simultaneously, which includes intense allout warfare. If you like historic war games for the gamecube, then Medal of Honor European Assult is the game for you.
