James Bond 007: Nightfire is the best games that I, personally have played. It has most of the core events that take place in a typical Bond movie, like fast cars, women, and action. It's all the main bits that makes this game so special. No 007 Video Game can get better than this.
This graphics on James Bond 007: Nightfire are fairly clean. It's cutscenes are pure and it's in-game graphics are spectacular. However they can do better than this. But all in all, the stages are well designed and the guns have been detailed quite nicely.
The sound is suitable for a Bond game, however the grunts of opponents when they die has been overexaggerated a little. The music suits the whole climax of things. For example, as you are on an undercover mission, the music will be calm and quiet, but as an enemy spots you and starts firing, the music starts to get louder and more eventful.
Gameplay is one of the greatest traits of the game. In Single Player, you have a fair amount of missions to complete, and lots of goodies to unlock. The missions have been sorted out considerably, having driving missions, ground missions and even missions up in the sky.
Multiplayer is very well done here. There is a huge amount of characters, stages and weapon sets to decide from, all from previous James Bond movies. There are endless ways to defeat your enemies.
The single player mode may get a little tiring once complete, but when you get into the multiplayer scenarios, you'll never get tired of it. There's plenty of scenarios at your disposal, like King of the Hill, Assassination or Goldeneye Strike. All these can last you for a very long while.
In conclusion, James Bond 007 Nightfire is by far the best 1st Person Shooter I have played on the Nintendo Gamecube, and I do hope they make another Bond games similar to this. It's a great game when you're playing alone, but greater with a companion.
