Introduction

Ok, let me start this out by saying that this is my first review. I decided to do a review of this game because there currently were none. I also want to state that I am a huge Inuyasha fan. Saying that, I also want to state that I will not hold anything back. I may be a fan, but this is about the video game and nothing else. Here goes...

Graphics

Certain parts of this game would be really scarry, if you didn't go back to a screen of chibi characters. That puts a lighthearted look on any situation in the game. The graphics run as smoothly as just about any other game on the PS2. If all other games had the "rush to the market" look and feel.

Sound

THe music is intense at times. All the music in the game fits the situation that you are in. The only problem is that more then not, the music over-shadows the voice acting. If your like me, and play games for great story-lines, then you will probably get fustrated with the music. As of the day that I'm writing this, I have yet to find a way to turn it off. I don't think you can.

Gameplay

At the core of this game, there is a semi intrigueing story. The battle system is the same you hit me, I'll hit you kind of thing found in all RPGs. THe idea of the over-head map is cool. I love the side quests, as they are all pretty funny. Other than that though, the quests are all almost carbon copies of things in other games. Again, it gives you a "rush to the market" feel, which is not good.

Lastability

The fast that there are at least three different endings makes you want to play it again. But that's only if your the type of person that must have everything in a game before they stop playing it. There aren't many people like that, but if your that type, I say go for it.

Overall

If your a huge fan of Inuyasha, than this games for you. Other wise, I you still want to play this, might I give you a tip, find a place that has a copy, and rent it. Or if you have a friend that has a copy, borrow theirs. In any case, unless your a huge fan, like me, TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. Trust me. Last but not least, never run from a battle, the game has a wicked glitch if you do that freezes the game and you have to reset you PS2. Trust me, I know.

Final Score: 68%
