Sweet Jesus it's finally here, it's time to kick ass and chew some bubble gum, but we're seriously need need of gum, a lot of gum, because we'll be chewing through this for a long time. Why were we waiting for this? This game has been in production hell and 2K Games finally releases it. How did the game come out?
The graphics were probably the best thing this game had to offer. It looked nice, but was lacking in some areas. The environment didn't seem to fit in and the core of the game was more of the gameplay. They could have definitely polished up the look of the game.
Well, this sucked. There needs to be sound in order to have a good rating. There was rarely any music playing and the sound effects weren't that great. They seem reused from something else and were just plain boring. It was lacking a lot and made the game feel boring.
Alright, you're probably thinking I'm on crack with this rating, but bare with me here. I found this game to be hugely amusing with friends. Drawing random naughty things on the white board and telling the kid who wanted my autograph to go...you know where that goes, but was hugely funny. Playing air hockey and other random things was just fun. The rest of the gameplay was just boring, killing everything with the Devastator gets boring after a while. Oh, and the multiplayer isn't worth anything either.
This game has nothing worth playing for after you are done with it. There is nothing worth playing for again once you beat the game. The multiplayer is plain boring, and the only thing worth playing is the mini-games that are in the campaign. After beating the campaign, what is there left to do?
The game has nothing left to offer once you beat it, the game is so repetitive, you want to shoot yourself, and just wasn't ready to be made. Duke Nukem is probably ashamed of this game himself and wouldn't even play it in real life. This should have definitely stayed in Production Hell, where a better company could have made this game a little better.
