The Pirate and His Goddess

This is a 4 day limited time Event. Complete the event and you will unlock the Pirate Ship. If you can complete it within the time limit you will then unlock the Pirate Fashion Pack.

Here is a list of all the tasks for this Quest, we'll explain in detail anything which may not be straightforward to do. But feel free to ask us a question in the comments section if you are stuck anywhere or need help.

Visit the Island - Instant

The game is talking about Mysterious Island here. Just go to the town map and click the option to go to The Mysterious Island.

Call 5 Sims to The Community Center - Instant

One of them may as well be a Teen because the next task is call a Teen to The Community Center

Call a Teen to The Community Center - Instant

If you don't have one, follow the steps in our Teenagers Guide

Have a Teen Play a Sea Shanty on the Piano - 5 mins 36 secs

You'll find a keyboard on the bottom left of The Community Center area (outside the building) - I know it's not a piano - but it will do... apparently...

Have 5 Sims Sit in Front of the Podium - Instant

Out side The Community Center there are a heap of chairs in front of the Podium, just select 5 of those and have your Sims - Attend Meeting.

Host the Town Meeting -12 hours 30 mins

You must use an Adult Sim for this, you can use one of the Adult Sims that were already sat in the chairs in front of the Podium. You don't have to keep your Sims in attendance in the audience for the meeting, they can head off and do something more interesting.

Make an Espresso - 16 secs (time varies according to machine)

After that long meeting I guess your Sims need to wake up a bit, heap of home and use a coffee machine to make an Espresso

Object! At the Podium - 4 mins

Select The Community Center again, and if a Sim is still there select the Podium and choose - Object! It's okay to use one of the Sims that may be attending the meeting, just cancel them out of that if they are still sitting there.

Powercord Presentation - 4 hours 20 mins

Use the Blackboard, there is one behind the Podium at The Community Center, just rotate your screen a bit if you can't see it, because only one side of it is black. Select Give Presentation.

Have a Teen Look at the Pirate - 2 mins

A Pirate is now at The Community Center, with your Teen as the selected Sim, click on the Pirate and choose the Look option.

Have a Teen Talk to the Pirate - 7 secs

Talk to the Pirate Again - 2 mins

Use the Teen again.

Have a Teen Give a Speech at the Podium - 4 mins

Search Sim Town and Find the Pirate - Instant (select Park)

We found our Pirate in the Park. Apparently he's usually there... Or at the Stables.

Call a Teen to the Park - Instant

Hide in the Public Toilet in the Park - 18 hours 30 mins

Use your Teen for this one - I have no idea why he'd want to hide for so long in a smelly toilet though...

Ask About Journal - 3 mins

Use your Teen for this one again, tap the pirate that is still in the Park to talk about his journal.

Look at Pirate's Journal - 3 secs

Solve the First Riddle - 8 hours

The pondering man refers to the thinking man statue in the Park where the chess boards are.Tap the Search for clues option when you click the statue, this takes 2 mins.

We won't the answer here and spoil the fun of the riddle. But if you are having trouble, please drop us a comment at the bottom and we'll help you out.

I have no idea what it takes 8 hours to tell the pirate the answer though!

Have a Teen Talk to a Friend About Pirates - 9 hours 30 secs

Well strictly speaking the other person doesn't have the be a friend - we've completed this task with the Teen's Mom. Whom I guess should be a friend anyway!

Find the Pirate - Instant

This time try The Stables on Mystery Island

Say Hi! to the Pirate - 1 min

Send your Teen Sim over to complete this task.

Solve the 2nd Riddle 12 hours 30 mins

This one is a little more tricky. You just need to go to the snowpark - If you don't have one, that's a bit of a problem, because it's at this location where you will solve the first part of the riddle.

In the snowpark there is a fireplace, select that and choose ignite kindling.

The second part of the riddle is found at the Swim Center. There is a gift box there near the elephant which you need to have a Sim open (preferably your Teen Sim).

This will give you the answer which you need to take back to the Pirate at the Stables.

So select the answer 'admin' when you go back to the Pirate at the Stables.

Have a Teen Dance with the Pirate - 2 mins

You can do this at the Stables, with your teen active, select the pirate and the Dance option.

Ask the Pirate why he is Upset - 1min

Select the Talk option.

Convince the Pirate - 4 mins

Tap the Ancient Goddess on the Island - Instant

Send your Teen to the Park - Instant

Talk to the Pirate - 2 mins

Have your Teen talk to the Pirate one last time.

That concludes this quest, you have now unlocked The Pirate Ship where you can begin to trade resources for The Ancient Goddess.

If you completed the Quest within the seven day time limit, you will also find a heap of pirate costumes available in your wardrobe.
