By the time you reach this point you should have completed most of the base Tasks at least once, you should have opened up between 5 and 6 new land areas, and you should have placed the Simpson House, the Flanders House, the Kwik-E-Mart, several Brown Houses, a Purple House, Cletus' Farm, and the Krusty Burger.

With any luck you will have reached the point where you are now earning a decent amount of XP with each harvest cycle, and a decent amount of Cash.

One of the best ways to hurry that along is to be sure to keep a Cash reserve of $4000 plus on hand, because for some reason having a lot of cash seems to prod the game into launching tasks and quests.

You will need extra Cash anyway because at this point in play you will be asked to place the Purple House and the Blue House (actually the Purple House probably came earlier, but the Blue House for sure). They are not cheap, so work on banking some Cash!

At this point you will also unlock the quest to place the Van Houten House -- that requires $3800 so if you do not have the Cash you will need to raise it.

The game is tightly based upon the TV show, which means that eventually as you continue to play you will be unlocking and adding the entire cast of characters both the main and supporting ones. The image above should give you an idea of just what that means!

Placing the house is part of the quest Thrill House Pt. 1, and it yields $35 and 4 XP every 60m as well as adding the character Millhouse to your gang! Note that the build time for that house is a full 24h -- slow going but worth the effort!

Once the house is built and placed Millhouse joins the crew, and he and Lisa go on a shopping date to the Kwik-E-Mart together to start things off on the right foot...

If you have not noticed, these minor tasks are basically part of the chain that leads to the major ones, for instance this chain will eventually lead to us getting Bart's Treehouse -- and Bart!

The next quest for Lisa in the line is The New Evergreen Terrace Pt. 6 -- Build the Pink House -- which will cost you $3400. For Millhouse he needs to find Puppy GooGoo -- which is a 10m Task.

After a short delay Lisa will trigger the quest We Do Need Yes Education Pt. 1, which starts her on a 24 hour task to do her Homework for the Week.

Once she finishes her studies she will immediately flag the quest We Do Need Yes Education Pt. 2 -- Build Springfield Elementary -- which will cost you a whopping $10,500 and after its 24h build time, you also get Mr. Skinner added to your crew!

As that completes Lisa's active quest she will quickly flag the next quest in the series, The New Evergreen Terrace Pt. 7, Build the White House. That will cost you $7700 and as it starts its build time, that completes this section!
