The Krustyland Expansion was added in late July of 2013 and is only available for players who have leveled their Springfield to a minimum of Level 20.
Access to the new Krustyland area is via the Krustyland Shuttle, which the player must place in their Springfield. If you are creating your Springfield artfully and along the lines of a real city layout rather than simply jamming every Building that you can in the space you have available, placement of the Shuttle along the edge of your Downtown CBD makes the most sense -- or close to the entrance to the Squidport Boardwalk Expansion also works nicely.
In Krustyland
When you arrive in Krustyland for the first time you will find a situation that is very much like how Springfield was when Homer first arrived following the "accident" at the plant. With certain exceptions of course...
The Entrance will be in place and will serve as one of the primary methods for you to begin to acquire the Tickets you need to begin restoring the park to its former glory. That is the first point that should stand out in your mind -- that Krustyland, the attractions, merch booths, mini-games, and most significantly the Land Expansion, are all purchased using a new form of in-game currency -- Krustyland Tickets. So no matter how much of the in-game Cash you have saved up, well, that will not help you.
So while Springfield is where you will be spending your Cash, and Krustyland is where you will be spending your Tickets, you will find that the Premium Currency of Donuts spends just fine in this new area as it does in the old -- and that there are Premium Items to be purchased unique to the Expansion area here as well.
Right now there are a total of around 40 Missions that are specific to the new Expansion that you will need to complete -- and the process of completing them will, for the most part, see you clear to restoring the park, as that is their basic focus!
Each of the Reference and support data sections of the Guide support the new Expansion and expansion Items where it makes sense to do so, but we have included a list of all of the major park resources (meaning the attractions, merch booths, food services, and the like) as well as infrastructure items that existed in the park, before it was blown up, in a long list below.
The list below includes the Name of the object, its Object Type or Class, and the cost you must pay in Tickets to replace it. Note that these objects are subject to a combination of Level and Required Mission Lines in order to access them, so similar to the situation in Springfield, you will only have access to them when you have completed or started the required Mission that relates to or unlocks them.

Odds: When Odds are given by percentage, unless otherwise stated the odds are basic pobability and do not improve by repeated attempts. The odds for getting a mascot via a Laffy Meal are 2% -- if you fail to get a Mascot from your Laffy Meal, buying another Laffy Meal does not increase the chances of getting a Mascot -- they are exactly the same odds (2%).

Fully built when Krusty signed-off on it, the Krustyland Theme Park included a massive list of resources, attractions, and retail operations that rival any other theme park you care to think of -- except that one of course!
For your edification -- and to give you an idea of the work that is ahead of you to rebuild the park as well as the reason why you will need all of those Expansion spaces of land (and why you should clean them up nice and shiny) the following list of Park Resources should give you a pretty good notion and all that:

Personally I like the idea of a Log Ride, and having Apu set up a food stand here would be rather interesting as perhaps it would add new dialogue to his character or even a new Character Costume?
Notes: The objects not included in the current in-game store or the current Mission List have been culled from mention in other places in or about the game. Appearance in this list does not necessarily mean that the item will be available in the game but we tried to select the ones we are pretty sure will eventually be offered in the game... Just saying.

As with Springfield the new Krustyland has its own in-game store that sells Items that can only be used here, in Krustyland, and that can only be placed here, in Krustyland.
In addition when there are Special Events or Holiday Events that take place in the game they may or may not have objects that are meant to be placed here in Krustyland as well. For example the most recent Halloween Event -- Treehouse of Horror XXIV -- included a ride that was part of the Goo Collection Reward Scheme that was only applicable to the Krustyland Expansion.
We mention that to point out that the Expansion is a fully supported, fully embedded element in the game since its release!

Special Objects Premium Item
In Springfield you could purchase -- using Donuts -- a raffle-like object that could result in you receiving a special Premium Item but, more likely as not, you would just get a bunch of low-level Items despite having to spend 6 Donuts on it. Krustyland has one of those as well -- it is called the Laffy Meal.
Unlike the Springfield Version in Krustyland the cost for the Premium Raffle Item is 25 Donuts -- but hey, everything is always more expensice in a theme park, right? The Laffy Meal will reward you with a randomly chosen item from the following Prize List:

The following Prizes -- with odds -- are available to be won beneath the balloons you pop -- and remember that the 5 Donut Prize is only available on every 300th game...

You will have noticed by now that a group of NPC visitors has appeared in your Park at the same time that you earned your first Star on the Krust-O-Meter. That is not an accident or a coincidence -- think of the Krust-O-Meter as the rating system by which the desirability to visit your Krustyland is rated.
The more Stars that your park has, the more additional visitors you will get -- the more additional visitors you get, the more KT they will bring with them for you to harvest! So getting your Krst-O-Meter up there should be high on your list of things to do!
You already know that each visitor to your park can be harvested for KT -- but did you know that the longer you go between harvests the more KT they will produce? True that! The following list is the pay-outs per visitor based on harvest delay times:
The following table reveals the relationship between the Meter Rating, the Visitors, and the profit in KT you will earn from them. We include the anticipated KT Income so you have good idea of what the income changes and amounts will be for Building the meter rating!
Note: The KT totals here represent ALL of the Krustyland Tickets you will get for harvesting ALL of the Visitors at the given Level -- the formula is (Visitor Number * Hour Reward) so for example your 1-Star Park has 5 Visitors, and when you harvest all of them at the 12h timer mark, that will yield 30 Krustyland Tickets. You get the idea?
Meter Rating | Visitor Count | 4h Total | 8h Total | 12h Total | 16h Total | 20h Total | 24h Total |
0 Stars | 0 NPCs | 0 KT | 0 KT | 0 KT | 0 KT | 0 KT | 0 KT |
1 Stars | 5 NPCs | 10 KT | 20 KT | 30 KT | 40 KT | 50 KT | 60 KT |

3 Stars | 15 NPCs | 30 KT | 60 KT | 90 KT | 120 KT | 150 KT | 180 KT |
4 Stars | 20 NPCs | 40 KT | 80 KT | 120 KT | 160 KT | 200 KT | 240 KT |
5 Stars | 30 NPCs | 60 KT | 120 KT | 180 KT | 240 KT | 300 KT | 360 KT |
Obviously the above table represents the BASE payout values and does not take into consideration any Bonus multiplier that may apply to the totals.
In addition to the KT pay-out that is collected from Visitors to the Park there is also the KT Tax that is obtained from Park Objects. The following Table provides an estimated BASE payout in KT on a per-object basis. To obtain your actual estimated pay-out you need to add the number above based on the frequency of collection from NPC Visitors to the Tax Payment for the Objects that you actually have in your Park from the list below, and then add whatever the percentage in Bonus is for your specific Park.
To determine the Bonus level you should add total of all of the Bonus boosting objects and/or Decorations in your Park to the Bonus Percentage that is provided by your Park Rating (as indicated on the Krust-O-Meter Display, and then multiply that Bonus Level as a fraction to your estimated total Income to arrive at the estimated total Bonus boost.
That will give you an estimate for your total Income based upon collection frequency, which should assist you in determining the frequency at which you will visit and harvest your Park.

Merch Rating
As your options here are rather limited, simply spread out multiples of the different Merchandise Sales Kiosks and Prize-Awarding Game-Based Attractions until you reach the desired effect...
Nausea Rating
This Stat is raised by placing Rides rather than buying objects, which means that your options for increasing it are fairly limited to the rate at which the game releases additional rides per the Missions and Quests.
You will pick up your first two-stars relatively quickly in this category, but after that the process for the Nausea Stat will slow down considerably. Your best tactic is to focus on the Stats you can directly influence and not worry too much about this one -- it tends to take care of itself in the end and fussing over it will just irritate you.

As with Springfield at the start of the game, you will only begin recovery of Krustyland with a limited number of accessible Land Expansion Grids open.
The trick is going to be Building a nest egg of Tickets with which to pay for the variety of objects and Items since getting a sufficient number of grids open within a reasonable span of time is really no challenge to speak of...
The rapidity (or lack thereof) of your progress will be almost entirely based on the model you prefer for Game Play -- meaning to re-create a town (or in this case a Theme Park) with an eye towards realism or efficiency in just packing in the objects as best they will fit.
You can tell from the illustrations in the Guide that we voted for the creative road rather than the efficient one, which means Building up both our new Springfield and restoring Krustyland with an eye towards a realistic but artistic world.
At the risk of being accused of repeating ourselves, obtaining a sufficient amount of Krustyland Tickets will constitute the primary choke-point in the beginning and pretty much throughout the game! What that means is learning the different methods for increasing your Ticket Income and then making use of them is going to be key to your success here.
Bear in mind that Game Play speeds are relative -- as long as you are harvesting Tickets daily you will have very little trouble keeping up with the speed that the Krustyland missions appear at when Springfield remains your primary focus.
To help you work out the costs that will eventually be paid either way, we present to you the Land Grid for Krustyland with lots of data inserted to give you plenty to think about!
First though, some facts and figures...
