How good is it?Added 26 Jun 2006, ID #585
In Lord of the Rings: Tactics, you can control both sides for the battle of Middle Earth. Play as the Fellowship or as Mordor. You choose which team then you play through the campaign.

On each mission, you can have special objectives or just to eliminate all enemy units, for example: on the first mission for the fellowship, you have to bring the Witch King of Angmars health down to half way or lower.

Each mission has set units, at least one \"hero\" character, so if your playing for mordor, a \"hero\" character will be one of six characters eg. Sauron, and you can also have reinforcements. You don\'t pick your rienforcements or units, and you can only pick which \"hero\" characters you wan\'t on optional missions.

The object of the game is to get all the \"hero\" characters to level 15, complete the campaign and get all the skills. You buy skills and items from the relative shops, and you get money for completeing missions in campaign. The graphics are good, but not that clear, so i give it an 8 out of 10.

The sound is great, has the original music from the films, a 10 out of 10. The game is quite a long game, you have 20 odd campaign missions, you can spend a long time on it trying to get your characters up to level 15 and getting all the skills. You can also do any mission again after you\'ve finished it, but you don\'t get as much exp.

I give it 10 points (10/10). I\'ve had this game for a month and still havn\'t totally finished, and i played for hours a day. Took me a week to do the fellowship campaign.

So an 8 out of 10. Overall, it\'s a fantastic game which will last you a long time. Definetly worth getting An overall 10 out of 10. A great buy.
