This is the phyro. Majora's Mask is the second installment for the Zelda series on the N64. Compared to the first installment, Ocarina of Time, this one has no comparison. Mainly all you do is run around collecting different masks and have different powers. All in all in is a good game. (There maybe spoilers in this review.)
This game had out standing graphics for the time that it came out. In fact the graphics were so out standing you had to get an expansion pack for your N64 just to make it work. It is basically the same graphics that are in Ocarina of Time. I really like the best swords look (gold and silver spirals what a sweet combo). I also like the first bosss sword. At times it seems as if the game could be real. At least to me it does.
I am not that big of a sound person when it comes to games. I prefer to listen to my music instead. This game is no different all the sounds are the same as Ocarina of Time. Only thing different is that when you transform into different people you interment changes. Besides that I didn't hear that many of the sounds.
I am a big Zelda fan so the game play is a huge part of the game to me. All in the entire story line was really good. But the fact that you have three days to beat a dudgeon (In really life it is about an hour) really took away from the magic of the game. Also I didn't like the fact you only get to choose from one sword. You can change the sword into different up to three swords but on the second change (into the third sword) it stays the same. Boss hardness is key and in this game it is the biggest part. The first boss having a sword and is bigger than the clock tower doesn't help the fact. And the final boss having three, next to impossible to beat, forms increases the hardness level.
If you are the type that wants to just get through and beat the game as fast as possible then this game will not last you a long time. But if you are like me and want everything in the game then this game will last you a long time. The fact that you have to collect all the masks before you can even try to get your strongest form makes this game last forever. And when time runs out (the moon hits you) then all your changes to the world are reverted. Now that makes a long game.
Overall this is a great game. I will recommend this game to any person how loves role-playing games. Four bosses, four giants, three final forms, a skull kid, and a giant moon on it's way to destroy all of life as we know it. Now that is a sick game.
