Leads are tips, hints, or clues that allow you to begin searching for a new antiquity in a certain zone. Knowing how to get leads when you join the Antiquarians Circle is essential if you hope to uncover the best relics, treasures, and knowledge that The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor has to offer.
How to get Leads
Initially you will recieve several leads automatically for antiquities all over Tamriel. As you explore annd quest you will find more leads, they can be found in treasure chests, drops from monsters and from vendors. You can view your leads in the Codex section within your journal where it will show you what leads you have for antiquities within nearly all of the game's zones. The amount of experience points you get from antiquities will depend on the quality of the lead you work on. At first, you will only be able to use green leads but as you reach higher levels you will be able to use higher quality leads.
