Full Review for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion by alliemaccheat

Introduction

The introduction sequence is good and funny when one of the inmates says things about how you'll never get prison but then you do. I also like the Charactor Editor and being able to select your hero's Zodiac sign. Doing most of the stuff at the start is a bit pointless if you have mastered Morrowind but essential if your a novice at these kind of games.

Graphics

Textured and smooth now the patch is now relesed but before then the Graphics were all glitchy and the game always crashed. The water effects are good; the trees and shrubery sometimes look really glitchy and bad but most of the time they are fine

Sound

Has good soundtracks of background music and voices are good and high Quailty. The commoness of identical voices between charactors is annoying and why does your charactor have to be a mute when I first bought this game I thought you could swear and shout abuse at people but I was wrong :(

Gameplay

The game totally beats the crap of it's counterpart Morrowind, with a lot of new objects, new battle interface and of course better graphics. The amount of stuff you can do is also immense. I you use an magical weopon to much you have to constantly find soul stones and fill them up just to recharge your weapon!

Lastability

The Main storyline is short but the amount of other things to do is completly massive. It lasts depending on what kind of person you are if your a kind of person who wants to work a game to the max it will last ages but if your a person that likes just to complete the main storylines of games it will only last a few weeks.

Overall

But overall it's an all time classic and I like it because it lasts forever and it's just fun. Good reason to get an xbox 360 also the graphics and sound can be glitchy but it's still a fun game to play because the lastability makes up for most bad things in this game.
