A peaceful weekend soon turns to dread after a group chant opens The Gloom, a psychedelic dimension of terror that feeds off negative energy. Interact with a recurring cast of characters, untangle the complex history of the island, and witness terrifying revelations about the cosmos. Only you can fight off the creatures, reason with the survivors, and unravel the legacy of a cult from the 1970s to reverse the ritual.

The Chant Cheats, Tips Strategy

Below is a collection of hints and tips that will help you to progress in the game. These include why you need to explore Glory Island and why Jess must always be aware of the presence of The Gloom.

• Explore Glory Island

  It is recommended that before you start completing quests you first spend some time exploring the island and talking to the inhabitants, so you get an understanding of how Jess fits amongst them. You will meet Kim when you get off the boat at Glory Island and after speaking with her, you will be introduced to your core stats, and also your Mind, Body, and Spirit.

• Find Out More about the Inhabitants

  It is important that you meet the other members of the Prismic Spiritual Retreat as doing so will give you plenty of useful information that will prepare Jess for what is to come. Jess will meet Kim, Sonny, Tyler, Maya, and Hannah early in the game and while exploring the island you will come across documents of these characters which will reveal their true intention behind visiting the retreat. Make sure you collect these forms, so you understand exactly what is happening in the story.

• Search for Documents

  In order to solve the mystery behind Glory Island Jess will need to collect as many documents as she can. These documents which come in the form of research notes and forms can be found in cabinets, desks, and other places they can be hidden. It is essential that you find them as they will enable you to learn more about the other characters in the game and also the mysterious creatures on the island and how to fight them.

• Avoid Fights

  Jess does not have much in the way of fighting skills which means your main priority is to protect her from the monsters that lurk around Glory Island. One of the first enemies she will encounter are rams, they wear the skull of a horned beast on their head and will charge at you at high speed. Don't try and engage in combat with rams head-on, just find Jess places she can take shelter and simply wait for the rams to get distracted and disappear.

• The Gloom

  When Tyler from the Prismic Spiritual Retreat gathers all the members on Glory Island for a group chanting night Jess will discover that once she takes a sip of the tea and begins chanting the living entity known as The Gloom will become visible to the naked eye. Jess will also discover that The Gloom can take shape in various forms to stalk its prey and in order for her to survive she needs to be aware of The Gloom's presence while exploring as spending too much time around it can empty her Mind bar which will result in her having a panic attack.
