Introduction

Super Smash Bros. Brawl has finally arrived on wii after many unfortunate delays.
It's the third installment of the franchise and has to live up to what many consider the best gamecube game of all-time in Super smash bros. Melee.I'm here to tell you it not only is better than melee, but maybe the best fighter of this decade

This time around the game features 35 characters,40+ stages, and even online play!

Graphics

The Wi hasn't been known for it's graphics, but nintendo did a phenomenal job in the graphics department.the backgrounds are absolutely beautiful and the characters are very well detailed.the game also runs at a smooth 60 FPS which in a fighting game is always nice.

Sound

Brawls soundtrack is second to none.It features music from nearly every hit nintendo franchise as well as a handful of tracks from sega and konami. One thing I really like that brawl did is you can set how frequent the songs play on a certain stage. In total Brawl has 287 tracks.that is a ridiculously high number and I applaud the developers for featuring so many hit nintendo sound tracks.

Gameplay

Gameplay in Brawl s the same as it's always been.you can fight with up to 4 players online and/or offline with an insane amount of options.you can have coin matches, stock matches, and time matches.to add to that you can add your own abilities to the match, like turning gravity off,or maybe making your body metal. It's fun just experimenting with all these things.

One thing I really liked about brawl was the fact it has so many control options. You can play with the wii-mote,wii-mote and nunchuck, gamecube ,and classic controllers.to add to that you can also customize all the buttons to fit your liking so you will never feel uneasy about the controls when playing.

I'll just touch the online play since it wasn't what it could have been.the infamous friend codes are back so if you want to add a friend you have to register this huge code for each person you want to add.t's a huge pin but ocne you have it set up the fun begins.although I will say this,I highly recommend playing only with people in your time zone and/or your country.the lag in brawl is far too much to bare if you play outside of your region.once connected with a friend you will have the same options as you did in offline.Unfortunately you can't play user-created stages which I will get into right now

The user-creation was a fantastic idea and if you're the creative type of person you will have a blast wit this.you can also download stages via sd card from your computer incase you're looking for a change

Finally I will get into the single-player.Brawl has the usual modes from melee, event matches, classic mode. One new addition is the sub space emissary which is a story mode featuring all of brawls characters.n my opinion the game was better off without this mode since you will only force yourself to play this mode since once you complete it you will unlock about 95 of the characters

Lastability

This game can last you until the next generation of consoles come out.The sheer amount of modes in this game is insane and it even has a challenges section to unlock even more content like trophy's,music, stickers, and demos of classic nintendo games.Although the online suffers from lag in distant matches it's still a blast if you have friends around your area who can't come over

Overall

Super Smash Bros Brawl delivers on all fronts.with new features like level creation and online pplay the gameplay to this has been extended well-beyond comprehension.Nintendo has truly out done themselves and I can't imagine the next installment getting any better than this.Of course that's what we said about melee......

Final Score: 98%
