Full Review for Super Mario 64 DS by Pokemonhacker68

Introduction

--WARNING: This review may bring spoilers.--

Super Mario 64 DS. A follow up to the old game with many fans released for the Nintendo 64 - Super Mario 64. One of the first 3D games. This game will bring back a nostalgic feeling or two if you played Super Mario 64, and it's a Mario game. So It's SURE to bring a smile to your face. Is this game better then the original?

Graphics

The graphics are meh...ok. I didn't like them too much, It looked a little crummy a lot. Yes, it had GREAT graphics. But...not as good as Super Mario Sunshine, which is kinda a step down from the Super Mario! Series. The first game looked a little bit better then these. There not bad...but just something I disliked.

Sound

The sound was EXCELLENT. One problem: 95% percent of it was reused from Super Mario 64. Why couldn't they of done a remix of it? It just looked like a lazy thing on Nintendo's part. But judging on the first game, the sound is GOLDEN. Brings A LOT of nostalgic feelings to old fans.

Gameplay

Oh man. The gameplay in this was JUST RIGHT. (Not too hard, not too easy) and is incredibly fun. I LOVED it! So many great things - I didn't find anything wrong with the gameplay! From riding on Koopa shells to swimming in tornados, this game is TONS of fun.

Lastability

TONS of it! More then the previous game. This time theres a bonus 30 stars to find. Some of them (Like the bunny finding one) was too confusing and time consuming. But other then that...this will last you a while...If you don't stare at your screen all day, that is.

This game is well...not a big step, but a good step up from Mario 64.
The graphics were a little disapointing, and I bet tons of you disagree and thats fine. I however, disliked them. This game is worth a buy.
