Try out all of the characters to see which playstyle suits you

When playing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, you will get to use characters that belong to the aforementioned group. Each character has their own playstyle in skills therefore there should be a character that will suit to your liking. If you prefer ranged combat, then Deadshot is a good choice since he's a marksman who can do a lot of crits. If you like big tanky characters, then King Shark is also a good choice, he has a minigun that can do some rapid fires.

Captain Boomerang has obvious weapons which are his boomerangs that can be used in melee and ranged, but he also has a variety of other weapons like rifles, SMGs, and shotguns, he can even reposition himself in the field. Harley Quinn on the other hand has some tools like Batman's such as a grappling gun which can improve her mobility. She's good at close range with her baseball bat as well, and she has a lot of explosive attacks.

Turn off damage numbers if you want

The game is considered a looter shooter, so there can be a lot of enemies. Because of this, there will be a lot of numbers flying across your screen as well which can make things cluttered. If you're not the type to see a lot of visual numbers going around, then perhaps you might want to turn it off.

Turning damage numbers off will make the screen much cleaner, and you'll be able to focus on your movement and attacks without distractions. Of course, this is all subjective, so toggle this option according to your liking.

Listen to the dialogue

If you enjoy the Batman series, especially the ones that relate to Arkham, make sure to listen to the dialogue that you'll hear if you go around. You can listen to details such as the game's story, or perhaps catch a lot of easter eggs about the other characters in the game.

The dialogue that you get to hear can't be repeated, so try to take everything in and enjoy the game. Reaching the end game fast may make you bored, so try to see what the game has to offer for you, such as its lore.

Make sure to update your gear

The gear that you start with may be useful, but there will be the case where progressing in your story will make the enemies you encounter much more difficult. Aside from your skills in the game, you must update the gear that you have every now and then so it can match up with your current progression.

Gears can be upgraded and have perks added as well. Once you reach the endgame, you'll want to farm for the best gear possible that you can provide for your characters. This will use up resources, so try to make updates as needed only.

Evenly level your characters for the campaign

You might be tempted to focus on one or two characters when you play through the game's campaign, but be reminded that you will need to use all of your characters for the endgame. Try to even out the levels of your characters as you play through since you need to work on your team.

Also, you'll have bots in your squad so make sure to level them up as well. You'll want to have a balanced squad that can provide everything they got during battle. If you focus on a few characters only, the rest may get left behind at the endgame.

Check your equipment if it removes your shield

There are different types of equipment that you can get in the game, and they can come with a variety of effects. There are some items that can help you deal with a lot of damage, but you might not notice that they can have detrimental effects as well if you have them on hand.

Grenades can deal a lot of damage, but as long as they are with you, they will commonly have an effect that can remove your shield. This can be very bad in the heat of battle especially if there's a lot of attacks going along your way. If you get a grenade, try to use it as soon as you can. It's meant to be thrown anyway.

Check your weapon if it only works on a specific type of enemy

Whenever you get a weapon, make sure to check the effects that it has. One of the effects in the game lets you deal damage to specific enemies in an efficient manner; however, the catch is that you won't be able to damage other enemy types.

If you don't keep an eye out, you might be wondering why you're shooting an enemy but they won't die, but the effect that you have only lets you damage grunt type enemies. If you have such effects, you'd want to reroll for another effect instead.

Try to use traversals defensively first

Traversals let you move your character in a swift manner, and it's usually used as an evasive move. You can use this as a way to get to the back of your opponents so you can deal damage easier, or perhaps you can use this as a move in order to reposition yourself so you can retaliate. Avoid using this move over and over because you might position yourself in a bad spot.

Other characters however, can use traversals in an offensive way. If you're using King Shark, you can use traversals as a way for you to charge at your opponents by tackling them. Try out each character's traversal and use it to your advantage.

Try to get max perks

The gear that you can get in the game can have perks added in order for you to gain more effects that are useful in battle. Perhaps you will want build types that focus on damage, or perhaps that you'll want to have build types that provide you with a boost of EXP instead.

If your gear only has 2 perks, then go to Penguin so it can be overhauled. You can have 3 perks on all gear so try to max out the perk slots that you have. Take note that you can overhaul without Penguin, however this will use up more resources.

Use T.O.T.E.S. to get specific perks

There will be instances where the perks that you get aren't what you want. You have options such as rerolling that can give you chances in order to have better effects. However, if you want to aim for specific perks, you can go to the Toyman and use the T.O.T.E.S system.

Here, you'll be able to choose a perk that you like specifically, but this will use a lot of resources. This can be used if you have the best gear that you have, and if you're aiming for an endgame build set. Take note that making your gear piece into elite will let you re-roll all perks of that gear as well.
