Ah, Star Wars. Arguably the greatest movie series of all time. And here it is, in one game. This game has all of the greatest battles in the amazing series. From Hoth to Kashyyk, you will find great enjoyment in this game. And it might just make you a little addicted....
Ok, well obviously this is and "older game," and you can't expect "older games" to have great graphics. But I was impressed on how this, being a Playstation 2 game (not having great graphics and HD capability like the Xbox 360 or PS3) has very nice and smooth graphics. I mean nothing spectacular, but I can't complain.
Oh, the sound of a shooting blaster rifle, the explosion of a grenade, the voices of your comrades bowing down yo YOU!!!! Special affects sounds are like most games, acceptable. But it is the classic Star Wars music from the amazing John Williams that gets stuck in your head and having people looking at you funny when your humming it. Now that is what I call sound.
With two main game modes (Historical Campaign and Galactic Conquest) will definitely have you screaming with excitement, well not really. But the controls are easy to learn and has plenty of levels to keep you coming back for more. I love the concept of Galactic Conquest, being you can take over planets and harness the power of your favorite Jedi!! Ha!
This game is great when you are really bored and you just want to blow a droids head of or something. But it's not just going to have you beat the game, then put it back in the case and never look at it again. No,no,no,no,no, this game will have you always wanting more, always having the sudden urge to kick the rebels butt, I mean if you get addicted to it, you got a problem. But still, wow!
Overall, this is an amazing game. Always leaves you wanting more, always feeding your desire to shoot something. Just a great game! This is one of the best games I have ever played and is already in the history books as one of the best shooting games based off of one of the best series of all time. Recommended!
