Game reviews for SSX
Let me start off by saying that i`m into games that are fun,and this has it with a capital F.When i first started playing i was very impressed with the graphics and the ease of control.
The first track is what you`d expect and your character won`t be as fast as you,d like(until you build up their stats)but you can tell you`ve got a classic in motion.
There are 8 boarders,4 to unlock as you progress. All have their own personalities and verbal comebacks as you whip past them. You can push an shove the other riders in the air as well as on the ground.
You have to perform tricks to build up yur boost bar so you can press your boost button to go faster.By the time i`d unlocked the 3rd track i was already extremly happy to have bought this game, but i was in for a shock.
The 3rd track blew me away,my brother was here at the time(a dreamcast owner bless him)and we both sat here open mouthed in awe of the best designed track ever.
This is where i stop my review as i now need,no must,go and have a session on ssx.
My opinion is this game is a 10/10 classic and if you want fun go and buy this right now,by the way i`ve played most other snowboard games and never liked any of them so you don`t have to be a fan of this type of game to enjoy ssx.And thats what you`ll do,ENJOY it.
SSX is probrably the best snowboarding game out. The graphics rule and you can do almost any trick a real snowboarder can do.
The levels are fun and have cool shortcuts, such as blasting into the "Tiki Man's" mouth in Aloha Ice Jam.
You can choose to do three diffrent modes; Race, Showoff and freeride. To find out what tricks you've done look through the trick book.
You can change the outfit and the board of your character to fit your taste. If your a fan of the "Coolboarder" games you'll love SSX.
I think ssx is a good game.I would give it a 8/10,it is not the best game but if you are in to snowboarding get this game and ssx tricky they are the best snow games around.
