Spyro is a very fun platformer game for the PlayStation, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable. It is fun for all ages and is not boring. It will provide hours of fun. There are only minor flaws, but overall, it is a great game and I recomend it to everyone.
The graphics are very good under my standards. It ain't no Little Big Planet 2, but it still is very mindblowing. There a few bugs in the graphics, like solids that shouldn't be there and thin materials can become transparent. But considering this game it is made for the PS1,
(it is only purchasable through PSN, even though gameplay is the same),
I say it is pretty darn good.
The music is very fun, groovy, and upbeat. Although this is very true, some of the music can become annoying after you are doing terrible and all you here is that same music over and over and over and over and over again. But other than those troublesome things, music is great.
This game is flipping amazing in gameplay. You can't set the controller down even if you really have to. I would also rate it best of the genre along with Banjo-Kazooey, Ratchet and Clank, Crash Bandicoot and all those other memorable titles. Oh memories. The controls are pretty staight forward. It has good touches of humour here and there. The only thing that might be considered inappropiate is when a character called a gnorc might moon you. That happens very rarely though.
It is so addicting and it never ever gets old. Seriously. I've been playing this game since I was three. I've beat the game countless times, but it doesn't get annoying when I have to redo the game because I have beaten it. It is the third most lastable game of it's series and still, I repaet, AMAZING!
I give it a nine out of ten, and that one point all goes to glitches and minor bugs, but hey, it's for the PS1 and they are still minor. I recommend it to everybody of every sex, age, race and all that good stuff. By the way, I also urge you to play the sequel, Ripto's Rage, which is even better.
