You'll hear a sound if done correctly, and you'll be given 9 specail weapons.

This is easy. While on the title screen, press Select 7 times on Controller 2, and if you hear a sound, you'll have 30 continues.

All you have to do is start up your game as you normally would, except while starting it, hold L and R on Controller 2. You'll then start by fighting the first boss, but here's the catch.
The second player will the one who is controlling him.

While at the title screen, press L 7 times on Controller 2. Then go to the Options Screen and there'll be a new difficulty. "Dynamic" is easy.
Press R 7 times on Controller 2 and you unlock "Almanic", a very hard setting.
