magic cave

How do I get to the magic cave, it's on an island and I can't get to it, please help

I have played the game many times and have nearly finished it! I have never heard (or seen) of such a place! And also, as mooseman09 (above me ^) responded, can you please be more specific about the name or area? (such as era and how deep in the game you must be)

magic cave is at the island on north-sound island. you have to go much far to find this cave. And if you have epoch you dont need this cave

I just found out where the Magic Cave is! I'm on level 'The Hero Appears'. In a village south of Zenan Bridge, there is a Tavern. Go into it. There is a man in there up in the north-west (left then up) area of the Tavern. Talk to him. This is what he says; "Have you heard about the Magic Cave? The one east of the Denadoro Mountains? I saw a sheer rock wall there part like a castle gate, and then a host of fiends strolled right in! Best leave Magus and his cronies to their own devices though, unless you eant trouble." That's what he says! Hope I helped!

The Magic Cave is not on an island--that is Magus' Lair. The Magic Cave is how you get there. To get in, you must first repair the Masamune and get Frog in your party. Then go to the mountain range just east of the Denadoro Mountains. Walk upwards into it to enter this area, and after a cutscene or two, Frog will open the cave and you can go inside. This will leads to Magus' Lair.
