Game Reviews for Silent Line: Armored Core

Quick Reviews

A very good game.Added 3 Jun 2004, ID #8949
Armored Core: Silent Line is a techies dream. Just like all the other Armored Core games, it has more customizable parts than you can think of.

The basic parts are: head, core, generator, radiator, legs, right arm, left arm, booster. radar, and weapons. There are so many different parts for your mech it's hard to tell them all.

If you really like to pay attention to all the little things like energy absorption, and weight instead of what just looks cool or kicks @$$, this game is for you.

The gameplay is awesome. It's hard to get used to it, but once you get the hang of it it really is really fun. You can fly, jump,(sometimes with certain legs) strafe, use blades, and most importantly...... shoot.

The story.
These are the basics of the story. You are a mercenary called a Raven. Your job is to complete missions for companies that are locked in warfare.

These companies produce AC parts. (AC's are the mechs you fight in.) Each time you complete a mission, you get credits, and sometimes parts.

You use credits to repair your AC, and buy AC parts. Some of the best weapons and parts are in excess of 100,000 credits.

This game is NOT for beginner gamers. You will want to be very good with the L and R buttons, know how to judge which parts are the best for your AC, and know how to read stats.

I give this game an 8 out of 10.
But for any fans of the series this game is one of the best. (To me.)
Have fun. Smile
