Game Reviews for Shen Mue

This game is 100% gameplay and 300% graphics, its the only reason why i desided to get a dreamcast and after completing it 5 times i still go back 4 more. If youve got it be proud and if you havent then go buy it now because you cant live without playing the game.

I would like too tell everyone that shenmue is the best game ive ever played.




It's got one heck of a story plus the graphics are unbelivable.




When i first got this game i thought it would be one of those games u play for a week but like always i was wrong as a matter a fact im playing right now i give this game a 10/10 i cant wait for shenmue 2..!

This game is good...really good! I bought it for a lot of money from Japan when it first came out over there.




I completed it, although it took about 50 hours of my life...I loved every minute! I liked the game so much I bought it when it came out here in the UK aswell.




The graphics are the best I have ever seen! The storyline is fantastic! The voice-acting is excellent!




This game is just one you cannot afford to miss! I would give it 9and1/2 out of 10 (95%). You will be glad you bought it...I promice!

Shenmue is the greatest game i have ever played.




Shenmue is a game which is about a young man called Ryo hazuki trying to seek out the man of his fathers death.




Through out the game you have to do various challenges which involves fighting,working at a harbour in a crate lifter,shopping,playing games in the arcade on games such as:racing,fighting and even darts!!




One of the features of the game is QTE's.QTE's is a test of quick reaction,but you had better be preperd because a QTE could pop up at any time.




An example of a QTE is a man with a knife and an "A" , "B" or a direction will appear in the middle of the screen and if you dont press it quick enough or press the wrong button you will be stabed,but dont worry,you will get anogher go until you get it write.




Also you can buy tapes for your casette player,buy food,and even raffle tickets in witch you can win great prizes.




Another feature is that you can buy toys from little machines all round the towns.


In the game you can get into fights with people and enable to win fights you must practise and learn new moves.




You can buy moves but some moves you get taught by people though out the game.
