Introduction

Tired of guitars ? Is two people not enough for? Well rock for the ps2 helps. Yesterday I used 100$ to get the complete band for rock band. I'll be talking about the drums,guitar,and mic in this review.

Graphics

Character creation was taken out of this game for a reason.[I,ll talk about that later] It looks as if it was running with the same graphics the ps3 and xbox360 was running with. It looks good and you'll be suprised they can put that graphic engine in that type of hardware.

Sound

Beside so covers. This game is packec with nirvana's In Bloom,Yeah Yeah Yeahs Maps,The Beastie Boys Sabotage,are a handful I can name. The sound track is really good. So get ready to jam out to the world.......Or your TV. Now if I could only get my hands on that copy of rock band track pack.

Gameplay

The gameplay is fun with a full band. But character customization gone make it bad . A little bit but still fun to play. All though it can suck sometimes when you can't get anyone to play with you. Now the instruments. Lets start with the new ones. The drums [my favorite] is fun to use and it takes just a few to get used to. The mic is easy to use and you just got to use the ps2 controller to navigate the menu. Now the guitar. This is basicly a guitar hero gameplay thing. But it has a few problems. I was playing full band and my brother was using the guitar , and my uncle failed and my brother tried to use over drive [rings a bell star power?]to save him. He tilts the guitar and nothing happens......And we fall failed. Luckly we can use guitar hero controllers.Oh and you need one of these four instruments to play .

Lastability

Now if you don't waist time. You could get this done within a whole day. But if you take your time to see the features and then rock on. It could take you a day and a half. This is still fun to play a full band so don't expect to get completely bored after beating the game.

Overall

The Good:
Great presentation.
Drums,and mic are cool and fun.
Full band is fun!!!
PS2 version is only 100$!

The Bad:
The guitar is basicly like guitar hero.
The guitar controller has problems.
When you can't get a fullband

EA and MTV know what to do when it comes with rock games. It makes me think what rock band 2 has to be like.
