Introduction

I am a big fan of the resident evil series (also the silent hill series) and I have been playing them since day 1. The first resident evil I bought on ps2 was code veronica x and is my favorite one so I have decided to review it for you enjoy.

And please look out for my reviews on silent hill's 2 3 and 4 thanks.

Graphics

The graphics on this installment of the series are farely good. When it was first released the graphics looked very good to first time players because as far as I know it was the first resident evil on the ps2 so there was a big change in the graphics. But if you look at it's graphics these days they still look good but not as good as they did before because the latest installment outbreak has excellent graphics so a 7 on that.

Sound

I think this one just has standerd resident evil sound with the sound of moaning zombies in the background like all the other games but I think the resident evils have always had good sounds. Especially the music that kicks in during FMV cut-scenes whe you are about to face a boss something like that so a 9 there. But I don't think the sound on the resident evils is as good as the sound on the silent hill series .

Gameplay

If you have read one of my reviews on one of the silent hill's you would of seen that I put a 8 or 7 on the gameplay. Well thats why I have chosen the same rating for this one because I think silnt hill and resident evil have just about the same gameplay as each other so yep good gameplay here I have always liked that type of gameplay .

Lastability

I think the lastability on this game is brilliant people play this classic over and over again wether they have completed it or not, I havent even completed it myself and iv had it since july of 2002 (I know that because iv still got the receipt) and I'm playing it currently so for me this game has a long lastability. Even if people have completed it they can still get something out of the game by the unlockable mini game modes you get at the end so a well deserved 10 there.

Overall

Capcom have done it again with another excellent game my hat is off to them. This game is excellent if your looking to buy a game and you can't think of what to get just buy resident evil code veronica x yes it may be old now but it's worth the money just for a few hours of gaming fun it would be about �10 to �20 now so go and buy it if you want.
