Introduction

This is just going to be a nice review of a fantastic game and, in my opinion, The absolute best entry in the Resident Evil franchise. Whether it's graphics, gameplay, or story this game outdoes any other entry in the franchise with ease, and is worth the twenty dollar price tag.

Graphics

The graphics in Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition have seen little to no improvement over it's Gamecube and Playstation 2 counterparts, which is unfortunate but not necessarily a bad thing. The Graphics in the previous versions were already spectacular so improvement was not needed. Full widescreen support has been added though, so those intense moments will be much more frightening. Combine this with HD TV, and surround sound and you've got a truly scary game.

Sound

The sound is spot on in this game. Every gun sounds very much like it's real world counterparts. However, it's the tiny sounds in this game that make all the difference. The creaky wood in the houses, the dripping water in the sewers, the hefty breathing of the regenerators, all of it combined with the eerie music and sudden appearances of enemies will make you jump, and make you think twice about playing this game alone in the dark.

Gameplay

Resident Evil 4 revolutionized the Resident Evil franchise in every department, but the most notable change is in the gameplay department. You no longer have to deal with the cramped and crowded hallways and crappy camera angles of the first three games. The series now plays like a tight third person shooter with an over the shoulder camera view. The controls are quite simple really. You use the control stick on the nunchuck to walk around, and to run hold the z button while moving. To shoot you hold the b button to raise your gunsight, aim around the screen with the pointer and press the a button to fire your gun. These controls allow unknown speed and precision while aiming and firing.

Lastability

The wonderful gameplay and unlockable guns, items, costumes, two new modes called Mercenaries and Assignment Ada, and an entirely new story mode called separate ways, in which you play the story through Ada Wong's eyes, (And I don't mean the same locations as a different character, I mean an entirely different game)are enough to warrant several plays. This game will last you a long time.

Overall

What can I say? This game is almost perfect in every single way. The graphics, lastability, the sound, gameplay and everything else you'll find in this game are just flawless, therefore I must recommend this game for a buy and one of the greatest games ever made.
