This guide has been created in order to classify and simplify finding who sells
what items and at what price. I've been caught off guard many times while
saving up for buying essential combination items in bulk, only to search across
town looking for the right person to buy from.
This guide also includes the rarity level of items and if they are inventory or
upgrade items. The last two shops aren't really shops, but they have been
included due to them requiring a money/point transaction in order to obtain
their services.

[SPL]----------------------------3. Shop List----------------------------------
The shop list is designed in a table format. This list is best viewed in any
fixed-style fonts. Lucida Console is my current recommendation.
Item types vary, but can be fit into one of three categories (except cats):
Inventory: Fits into your current inventory or your safe.
Upgrade: Does not fit into your inventory or safe, the items in this category
include Monster Info books, Safe upgrades, and Kokoto Upgrades.
Equipment: The most visible items, they are equipped and affect your hunter's
stats and fighting style. Armors also give passive skills during
quests.

[WAS]----------------3.3 Armory - Weapons / Armor Salesman---------------------
The Armory's Salesman deals in basic level weapons and armors. The things
bought here do not require any materials to make, unlike the Craftsman, and
cost more as a result. This guy is only useful if you are looking to make basic
weapons without using up any materials, keeping them for further upgrades. If
you want anything else, it's usually easier to go through the Craftsman.

The single most important shop in the game. This man creates new weapons and
armor from the items you gain on your quests and in your farm, and can improve
your weapons in order to make them stronger and possibly upgrade them to new
types of weapons.

[WPL]------------------------3.5 Wandering Peddler-----------------------------
This guy is only available at the start if you begin a new game without saying
you are a Newcomer. If you started as a Newcomer, you can only see him when
you finish the five basic 1* Elder Quests.
This Peddler upgrades his inventory each time you reach a certain Elder Quest
level. He also sells the rarest Monster Info items later on, too.
It is to be noted that this man gives you the little Pig, dressed in a blue
jumpsuit. This Pig is one of the better upgrades you can get to your home as
it increases the chances of you getting better items when you complete a quest.

Kokoto Farm Upgrades are available from the moment you gain your farm. From
your house, walk toward the yellow clad man and talk to him to buy upgrades.
This shop is unlike any other shop, however. You trade in Kokoto Points in
order to buy the upgrades and some are unlocked only if you buy it's preceding
version or complete a certain level of Elder Quests.

The cat lady appears once you finish the Yian Kut-Ku 2* Elder Quest. She sells
you one more cat per Elder Quest level completed. (Complete + Access to next
level)
The Lv 3 cats are only available once you reach the 4* quests.
**IMPORTANT** After further tests, I found out that the name has nothing to do
with the rest of the stats. HOWEVER, there are many base stat sets that will be
added here, and a list of names will be compiled over time. For anyone who
wants to contribute, please give me the name anyway. I'll still be making a
list of all cat names possible.

**TRICK 1**
--Easy Kokoto Points--
This is one or my easier ways of racking up tons of points, although it's not a
fast way of doing so.
Before you start: Make sure you have at least 198Z and an empty inventory for
fastest results.
When in town, go talk to the blue Sales Lady in order to quickly buy/sell 99
Huskberries. You gain 118 points each time you do so and only lose 99 Z in the
process. With this method, it is quite possible to buy almost all beginner Farm
upgrades within a few minutes. I've been able to reach 30000 Kokoto Points for
Bomb Mining in a bit less than an hour. This is the highest KP/Z ratio I have
yet to encounter. Please advise me if you find anything better.
**TRICK 2**
--Ruststones--
Since Ruststones can only be polished at a shop, I thought it should be a good
idea to include this trick. This version was tested by me, although it's not
completely proof-tested yet. I'm sure I have a lot of the info right, but I'm
still hesitant to say that this is the ultimate version of how to re-randomize
Ruststones.
Let's start by the basics:
* You can only have two Ruststones in your character's inventory at any time,
although you can have more than two in your item box.
* You can only polish Ruststones at the Weapon Craftsman's "Create Weapon"
screen.
* Polishing a Ruststone costs 1000z.
* Each Ruststone has a set weapon type (Sword and Shield, Bowgun, Lance, etc.)
* Each weapon type, save Dual Swords, have a Rusted *weapon type* tree.
* You need massive amounts of Earth Crystals in order to make the final version
of any Rusted weapon (except Bowgun).
Here's where everything becomes technical. When you get a/some Ruststones, you
can polish them to discover what weapon type each stone will be. HOWEVER, if
you don't save, they will stay the same. Now, to find out what type each stone
is, polish them from the first one in the list (page-wise) and continue until
the end of your Ruststone list. Be sure to remember which stone in the order
gives out which type of weapon.
Now, in order to re-randomize the type of weapon you get from Ruststones, you
absolutely NEED to do a quest and get through it, win or fail. If you abandon
the quest, you it won't work. My suggestion: Do one of the basic gathering
quests that the Elder first gave you and complete it quickly.
Here's how the trick REALLY works: Let's say you have 3 Ruststones...
*You polish them in order*
1. Iron Hammer (Hammer)
2. Hunter's Knife (Sword and Shield)
3. Iron Sword (GreatSword)
*Now you complete a quest, then polish them in order again*
1. Iron Hammer (Hammer)
2. Hunter's Knife (Sword and Shield)
3. Iron Sword + (GreatSword)
*Instead of polishing them in order, let's do it in the reverse order*
1. Iron Sword (GreatSword)
2. Hunter's Knife (Sword and Shield)
3. Iron Hammer+ (Hammer)
*Now let's complete two quests instead before polishing in the original order*
1. Iron Hammer (Hammer)
2. Hunter's Knife+ (SnS)
3. Iron Sword + (GS)
See what happened? The last Ruststones changed types after an equal amount of
quests completed.
Now, this is a forewarning: THE LAST RUSTSTONES MIGHT NOT CHANGE AT ALL IN
OUTCOME. Why? Because each Ruststone seems to hold two outcomes at a time: The
current outcome (unchanged by quests yet) and the next one (when you do a quest
and polish the stones last). This basically means that if the two outcomes
that are held are the same (Iron Sword and Iron Sword for the GS), you will
only be able to re-randomize the outcomes after you complete the same amount of
quests as you have Ruststones. This can be extremely tedious if you have many
Ruststones, I recommend only having one or two at a time available to polish in
order to not get annoyed by doing up to five or seven quests in order to see
the next batch of outcomes.
I hope that helped. If you found out something different or a correction, don't

Basically, I'd like to know any corrections to my list, if any. Most of my
information will be completed later on, anyway.
MAIN REQUEST: I've now discovered that the cat names aren't linked to stats.
Cat basic stats (Base Lvl, Info Lvl, and ingredients), breeds, and names will
be separately shown, so any new info you contribute might not even show up due
to it being incomplete or already there.
SIDE REQUEST: I now found out that the Gathering Hall's item list changes due
to yet-unknown reasons. I know that completing certain Elder quests unlocks
some items, but I've yet to reach higher HR levels, so they may affect it, too.
Any new info on how/when the changes happen will be credited.
