Is this game worth buting I don't want anything too short or suckish.

It's worth it. I haven't even gotten to the past parts yet(I'm grinding for ninja and samurai class) and I absolutely love it! You will have to grind a lot though, but it's really rewarding really quickly. The side quests can be boring or stupid but also rewarding! (you can get awesome allies like a machine) However if you hate grinding (which is more fun than most games) you may want to leave it alone. Don't rent it though. If you really want to enjoy it and it's huge amount of things to do between campaign missions, it can take probably 100+ hours to complete. If not, about 30. (people who do that will die a lot) It's definitely worth it of you work hard enough!
