No, if you can unlock minion you must beat the game with all the characters without dying once. If you beat the game with one character without dying then you beat the game with the second character and die with the second character, you must start all over.
Oh and by the way you also must do this on the hardest difficulty. You may have to use this invincibility code: hold L1+R2 then press the buttons right left down up.

No minion can not be unlocked in head on... Ive done this 5 times it's just a waist of time
Yeah I also did it and kept a list and it was all for nothing minion is not in twisted metal head on.
Twisted Metal Black is the last tm Minion is usable in. I searched for 20 mins looking nd all roads point to Black as the last game he is usable in.

No. Minion is not in the game. The code you are talking about was posted on Twisted Metal Alliance as an Apirl Fool's joke, with a screenshot that was edited to include a tank from another game. Sadly, some people thought it was a real code and posted it on sites like IGN.
