To find the crystal island just follow this:
Fix the forge in the Temple to unlock Crystal Island. Then swim to it from
Far right of West Beach or the far left of Pier Beach.

Go forward to the west beach, then there will be written "crystal island". Remember the island will rise after there will be huge earthquake, after repairing the forge in the temple interior. After the earthquake they will announce "an island has risen" or something like that. GOOD LUCK!!!! :D!!!!!!!!!
