Treasure Map

I finished the game but wasnt able to find the last treasure map piece. Where can I find it? Can I get the treasure without completing the map since I can already see where the "X" mark is in the map?

Here's a list to all the treasure map pieces:

- Found in a message bottle
- Found leaf pack from monkeys
- Dive for clams off West Beach
- Received when you dive from Ancient Theater down to Tidal Pools
- In the hot springs at Volcano Jungle
- Traveling up stairs to Volcano Summit from Volcano Overlook
- On Crystal Island in large circle
- Received when you catch tiger shark at Tidal Pools
- East River Plains at Hidden Lagoon Portal. Behind the Ancient Ruin you

That a lot of stuff to do...

Well here's an easier way:

Get at least one treasure map piece then, activate the cheat gnome
Then activate the Max Current Food and Resources which include the heiroglyphs and the treasure map piece then find the cheat gnome (a blue gnome, not the garden gnome that you will find in a box). Then you'll have 999 treasure map piece.. Now you can have many treasure map piece to display on you're wall.... It works on my psp.. Cheat Gnome =
L, R, Up, X, R

Max Current Food and Resources =
Square (four times) then L
