Question for The History Channel: Great Battles of Rome

What do the buttons at the bottom of screen mean when you are in battle screen? THe buttons with the horn and the one next to it with the two swords.

The horn is the rally button. This boosts the army/ies morale. The "two swords" button is a signal. When you press this button, it signals all armies that have held still the whole battle to attack the nearest enemy army.
