Why does my Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Heores 3 doesnt have heroes mode is it only in wireless play ???plz tell me

In the previous "Ultimate Ninja Heroes" games, Heroes Mode was Basically "Story Mode". Story Mode is the mode you need to complete in order to unlock new characters, etc. But, in Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3, they put "Master Road" as the Game's story mode. So, there's no "Heroes Mode" in this game, because they replaced it with "Master Road" instead. Sorry if I'm not much Help!
