Equip the following Scrolls, and the setup Screen will tell you if your attack is near or at 300:
Book of Attacks Lv. 2
Book of Attacks Lv. 3
Book of Attacks Lv. 4
Way of the Ninja Lv. 4
Way of the Ninja Lv. 3
Way of the Ninja Lv. 2
Way of the Ninja Lv. 5 or higher
Just look at all your collected Scrolls at the Setup Screen, and it will tell you how high your attack power will be.
I basically just played around with Scrolls until my attack stat said 300 or more.
Also, Status immunity Scrolls sometimes raise your attack as well.
