These are the best characters to use in Missions like that:
Shikamaru
Hinata
Neji
Sai
Yamato
Ino
Sasuke
Also, Assist Attacks from Sai, Neji, and Hinata, are long-Ranged, so they'll hit any enemy that's close enough to you.
Also, the best ones for you to play as in this Mission are either: Shikamaru, Yamato, Sasuke, or Ino, being as their Jutsu Combos attak at long-Range. So use Water Style: Ripping Torrent, Shadow Possession Jutsu Combo, Shadow Stitching Combo, Paper Bomb Kunai Combo, Mind Destruction Combo, S.B.S. Eagle Combo, Fire Ball Jutsu, 8 Trigrams Mountain Break Attack Combo, Heaven Crushing Palm, Wood Style: Forest Combo.
Also, Shikamaru, and Hinata have an infinite supply of Kunai, so equip that to them so you'll never run out of weapons. Also equip Shurikens, Tracking Shurikens, Tracking Kunai, 3-Way Shuriken, 3-Way Kunai, etc.(Any Red Ninja Tools, except Paper Bombs)
