How do i kill a Lao Shan Lung

I have unlocked the quest in the gathering hall and am struggling to defeat it....any tips??

Well, whether this is the normal lao or the azure variety, it doesnt really matter. This battle is extremely easy and simple. Just take a weapon with a good dragon affinity and wail away at his stomach. You'll know the spot when you see it. It kind of looks like a pot belly right before his tail starts. Just stay under there and whack away at that spot. You do that because that is his weak point. Hitting him there does 80 percent of your full damage where as attacking his chest or legs only nets you 10 percent. Its really that simple, I've soloed him several times with this strategy and have even beaten him in G-rank. A word of caution however, be extremely careful when getting out from under him and running around him to make it to the next area. His tail can be he death of you very easily. One more thing, you CANNOT kill him unil he reaches the final area, I've found me and friends in the situation where were causeing so much damage to him that he flinches constantly and we've actually run out of time before he could make it to the final area lol. So if you play with friends, make sure to leave yourself time in the final area. Well, thats about it, I hope this helped you out.

For lao shan, i only used my highest attack weapon which is bone great axe, 1st move: wait for his head to come out on d 1st area then used ur lbb and lbb and sbb, then hit him on d face many times even if its bouncing it will react after few more hits, after that reaction go under his belly hit the soft part then repeat the same actions til he gets near the tower then u should go up the tower before he gets very close to the tower thats the time u can use ur ballista, after using all ur ballista wait for the right timing activate ur dragonator after that go down again and hit him on the belly until time is over and u got the VICTORY! i read all your opinions but i have a little difficult about the weapon because im always go fight im with the black cannon and im always lose with that i broke is horn is scale in the leg and the back scale and i use the drolle in is head can you please tell me what weapon can i use for him to kill in the fast and segure way????
P.S im in the oldwoman yet...

I think the dragon bomb does lots of damage to him, and you get good items.
To use go above him on archway and jumb at his lower back area then use the dragon bomb and then press O, you might miss a couple of times but once you know how to do it you jump onto his back every time, you can only get 3 items off his back though which really sucks. Hope this helps :-)

Smolder dragonsword seems to work pretty well for me. I havent killed it yet but I usually attack it's face ill try to attack it's stomache and see what happens.

Simple...

A) Sword/Melee Weapon Method:
Attack the belly/stomach. You do more damage in this area than attacking the head or legs. You run a higher risk of getting hit though, by his feet or tail or the windpress by his feet. This is the simple way to go. You can strike the head with your melee weapon but I wouldn't do any more after the horn on it's head is broken. You'd be wasting your effort. By the way... This method is old, for people who don't know monster weaknesses, or for the weak (noobs ).

B) Gun/Bow Weapon Method:
Stand in front of him at the side (diagonally) and shoot him on his back, right above the shoulders. When you're on platforms above him, shoot him directly on his back. This is his weakest area. Gunning Lao Shan Lung is considered the fastest and most efficient way to go with the least of your worries on getting hit since you'll be so far from reach (even from the tail ). Bring lots of PeirceS1 , PeirceS2 , PeirceS3 , and items to make more PeirceS3 and PeirceS1. NormalS are a must too since you will run out of ammos if you're using a fast/good gun.
