The Final Invitation

The Final Invitation

Any tips on completing this quest? I've had a lot of trouble with it before, but now I have improved armor and weapons so I want to know if those are good too. I have the Final Black Katana, Narga Helm X, Narga Mail X, GuardianSprtCoilShin, and Lava Greaves X. My attack totals out to be 1224 and my defense 603 after using the felyne kitchen. Is all of this any good for the quest? Also if you have any strategies please share them. I hate this quest. Thanks.

Wow... All that is incredible... Way over expectations... And how do have g-rank lavasioth and nargacuga armor and have never killed a rajang? Goodness.... Remember to list skills next time, because I can't give hints with your skills, youll have to improvise and include you skills in this mini guide...

Grocery List---
*Shock Traps, Pitfall Traps, Trap Tools, Nets, and Genprey fangs
*LBB, LBB+, and a stone or sbb or even a paintball to ignite
*Farcaster
*Book of Combos 1-3
*Mega Potions, Potions, Max Potions, Anctient Potion, and W-D Steaks
*Flash Bombs, Paintballs (<- if you feel neccesary)
*Herbs, Blue Mushroom, Honey
*Bomb Material, Flash bugs, Exciteshroom
*Whetstones
*Powercharm, Armorcharm, Powertalon, Armortalon
*Mega Demondrug, Mega Armorskin, Power Pill, Armor Pill
*If this is too much space, improvise on what you would need the most

Once you have visited the felynes and gotten whatever skill it gave you hoping it actually makes a difference, make your way to the mission and start the quest...

Start by consuming the demondrug and armorskin along with a well-done steak, and walk into the large arena. Watch the cutscene, or skip it with SELECT (I love that), and begin...

He is fast... Obviosly that would probably be the reason you can't kill him. A good technique to avoid his attacks is when you can't attack, run clockwise or counter-clockwise around him. Just about all of his attacks are directed to the front, except for the blangonga like back jump, so always try to dodge under him to his back side... And heres another nice thing to aim for, hit the tail alot... Trust me... I know it really sounds stupid since you can't cut it off, but there is a little known fact that I have even done myself... After cutting off/breaking the tail, it will no longer go into rage mode... You can either try to be brave when he goes into rage mode or do the flash bomb and wait technique or even put down a pitfall trap because he can only be caught in a pitfall when in rage mode, and then bomb... When he does the electric ball or electric beam they are ideal times to attack whether it be the tail or even a leg to try and trip it... His moving punches are devistating. They are powerful, fast, and send you flying... Literally, like 20 feet into the air. Try to avoid this by any means neccesary. His charge is hard to avoid so make sure you know where he will be in a moments notice and make sure your not there. If you need a whetstone the best tactic is to use a farcaster and transport to camp and then use it, make another farcaster, and return to the battle... When trapping him, try to bomb him with at least 2 bombs, preferably the LBB+ to maximize damage... The other should appear either when the first dies or when the clock reaches 10 min... Hopefully by then you should have the first dead though...

Stab, Slash, Kill, repeat... The second one should be substantially harder than the first due to the drop in items, but luckily the ones you used you could remake... Just take your time on the second one, the chances are you should kill the second one before time runs out since you killed the first in 10 min...

Good Luck, but with that stuff ill doubt you need it

You gotta be kidding, you already have that armor but havent finish dual rajang...Here's what i got Obituary S full set (great for dodging)
Bone great axe w/ 5fin.(hit him on the face with sparks)
Use traps, bombs for the 1st rajang til it weakens, bring farcaster and exciteshroom and bomb materials you will use it on the 2nd rajang coz for sure u will ran out of potions so u need to sleep everytime ur HP is low. I killed it many times just using the above items and equip. Just keep on trying, then u'll get used to it. Goodluck-Erickhuletz guide

Ok, you have G-Rank armour and weaponry, but what you're obviously lacking in is guts. Remember, KEEP DODGING, Learning Rajang's attack pattern is KEY. Also, If you havent killed the first one and the SECOND one enters the area, paint the first one and only go for him. Then Go for the second and you should be fine.

I managed this quest with Rathalos SilvSol, NOT G-Rank. I used ExeptionalHornflySabre (G-rank). Just stay calm and keep moving like I did, like one of the other guys said before, go for the tail and attack the sides.

I myself have not tried this yet, but I am about to soon. I'm heading in with full Ceanataur you armor, and I very well plan on using a longsword to defeat them.

Thanks for the farcaster idea. I wouldn't have thought of that. :]
