I need help with Kushala Daora. I have a devil slicer and a wyvrin blade verde. I have 300 def. I need to unlock the diablos main body armor and the kushala has beaten me sensless the time I actually tried to fight the dang thing.

First of all don't use the devil slicer, start making the Wyvrn Blade Holly. Poison long blade. Kushala Daora won't have his wind power when poisoned. After that you can basically pillage him. (Try to keep him poisoned and you will be fine.) Hunt well.
Another good method is to unlock lao shan lung in the gathering hall, easyer said than done alone, and make fire dragonsword
Fire dragonsword will cut off it's tail and break it's head, making the need for poison redundant.
If you use fire dragon sword it exploits daora's greatest weakness as all dragons are weak against the dragon element
Wyvern blade holly? Well... The way to get all of the stuff like + and ruby and plate, is the hard way... Youre going to have to fight a g-rank rathian... Kushala is weak against thunder still... I've killed kushala daora in 18 min. Flat only with supplies, a felyne health and attack upgrade, and the upgrade of the devil slicer... Poisons great and all... But as with all veils, you can get rid of it by poisoning with throwing knives and attacking head... I've gone through all missions 4-6* offline and 3-7* gathering hall with devil slicer and upgrade... So I know you can
