Its hard to get the Lao-Shan ruby alone so I recommend you get other players to help you.
You should break Lao-Shan's Horn,Back,Left and Right Arm there's a low chance of getting the ruby but if you break every part of Lao-Shan you might get a Higher chance of getting it in rewards rather than carving it.
