Carry over damage #2?

Does the ash lao shan lung carry over damage or do you have ta kill him in one try?

No! The only monsters that carries over damage is Teostra, Lunastra, Chameleos, Kushala doara, Fatalis and Crimson Fatalis. Any downloadable quest the monster has 2b slain.

No damage does not carry over on Lao Shan Lung Quests you either:
A] Repell Him
B] Kill Him

To repell him just do your best with your weapon that you have and the supplies at your disposal in the supply box and around you.
To Kill him I reccomend you use a dragon or fire attributed weapon.

A] If the Dragon or Fire weapon is a long range weapon:
Use the bow and shoot at it's back when you reach a bridge go up it and shoot from there. Jump on it's back when you can and get 3 carves but don't forget to put the Anti-Dragon bombs there too. Also don't worry about the bombs hurting you they don't hurt your character.When you reach the last area use ballista's which can be located on the ballista rack in the base and in the supply box. I don't reccomend Cannon balls that just wastes time. When Lao stands up to attack the base climb back up the ladder and go to where the ballistas are. There should be a button you can press to use the dragonator.

B] If the Dragon or Fire weapon is a melee weapon:
Use the melee weapon and attack the stomach for most damage, but it's danagerous there and for first timers I don't reccomend it. Once you have gotten used to fighting Lao Shan Lung go for the stomach but the safest place is it's head. Damage can be delt at the head but not as much as the stomach area. When you get the chance set Anti Dragon Bombs on it's back and carves if you want. When you reach the last area use ballista's which can be located on the ballista rack in the base and in the supply box. I don't reccomend Cannon balls that just wastes time. When Lao stands up to attack the base climb back up the ladder and go to where the ballistas are. There should be a button you can press to use the dragonator.
