URGENT QUEST: ABSOLUTE POWER

You can try capturing him......1st you make sure he's weak from all attacks you've given him.... And then when he sleep, don't attack ....2nd you must get close to his head......3rd then put the shock trap.... 4th throw tranq bombs on him... Then you're done....

If you can't capture him..... Try using weapons with thunder attribute

What is the monster for that quest?

Use Devil Slicer for Tigrex. You might want to bring a couple of Shock and Pitfall Traps. Then bring Lg and Sm Barrel+, but that's for when it is sleeping. If it does not die because of the bombs, use the Devil Slicer to finish it off.

First bring with you:
3 large barrel bombs, 2 large barell bomb+, 5 small barell bombs+, pitfall trap, shock trap, 2 trap tools, 2 genprey fangs, 10 potions, 10 mega ptions, hot drinks, some well done steak, and 5 flash bombs.
When you start make sure you have you're healyh at 150 to avoid dieng(with max ption, ancient ption, or nutrients). When meating him throw a flash bomb, paint him and srat hitiing, doit umtil all flash bombs are finished. Next use three shock traps for hitiing him but keep one. Now try hitiing him normally until he escape to his cave. Wait until he sleeps, set a pitfull trap then put 2 lage barell bombs and small barell bomb+ to explode at him while sleeping. Run to the trap. When trapped put the 2 large barell bombs+ with small barell bomb. If he didnt die use the last shock traps with all left of the bombs and continue hitting him.
HINT: break the horns at his head to minimize the damage when he runs at you.

Ok. If you can't kill him any of theyre ways, I did it with a bow. You only need max of every coating type and potions, mega potions, flash bombs, and shocktraps (stuff to make more), 2 combo books, the works (powercharm/talon and armorcharm/talon). If you can, get dragonbow halo and the following armor set; helm: chaoshroom
body: Hermitaur vest
arms: hermitaur guards
belt: hermitaur coat
legs: hermitaur uhhh... Leggings
This gives def +20, -5 thunder res, and abnormal status attack up. Really, you need the chaoshroom hat for the sts attk up. It increases the power of your coatings so you need less to sleep/poison/stun him. You want DB halo for it's thunder damage. Go to 6, place a shock trap, and jump on ledge. When he sees you, avoid his rocks and load sleep coatings. When he falls asleep, switch to poison and aim for the head. When his head breaks, aim for hands until they break. When he leaves the area, if he goes to 8, DO NOT FOLLOW. Just jump down and go a few feet in front of ledge and place shock trap when he comes back. Flash bomb him at will (like when he throws rocks at you), and shoot the guy until he goes to 3. After he falls asleep, jump on logs and aim for the head (using power coating if there are any left) and voila, hes dead and you get to go for chameleos and lunastra!
Note: Kirin quests are not always there, and even though he is an elder dragon, you will never get eldr dragon bones or blood.

Just keep attacking under it's belly n most of the attacks will miss u

When it is in rage mode, DO NOT attack him

When he limps n goes to 3 n sleeps, wait for around 1 minute. If you mess this up, ull surely die

When he sleeps, take you're weapons out and press R (if you use DS) and just unleash the crazy attack

About after two rounds of it, he'll die (don forget to sharpen you're weapon b4 going in!)
