You know on the 2nd level quests for the vc I'm stuck on the soot stone ore and theforest n hills yian kut ku so if you can give me a useful guide to yian kut kus for the double sword man and a rout back to camp for sootstone

Sootstone ore quest:
Firsty kill the velociprey in area 2 and kill anything in area 6. Then run from area 1,2,6,5.
Take the egg from area 5 and run from areas 5,6,2,1. From there you shouldn't have any problems unless you encounter the wyvern. Then you run. =P
Yian Kut ku:
Many people get stuck on this at first, it's just a case of keep on trying. It helps to try different types of weapons and different tactics.
If you are using duel swords, then rolling is always good. Roll after going in for an attack, and roll to dodge.
When fighting them Kut ku you need to be wary of it's moves. Always let the Kut ku make the first move, then counter it. Never just charge in and let it hit you as it pleases.
Items play a big part in killing wyverns too. When setting out to kill one, there are a few essencials you need:
Whetstones: Keep your weapon sharp, otherwise it will end up doing no damage.
Potions: Have them plentiful, they keep you alive.
Something to restore your stamina: these can be things like rations or steaks. Stamina help you to sprint and dodge/roll. Makes your life easier, make sure you keep it up!
Flash bombs: Very useful especially against Kut ku. Stuns it so you can get extra hit in.
Barrel bombs: also stuns it, but be wary, it makes it mad!
Finally, keep trying don't give up. Your never going to do everything first time. =]
