I really need to clear the village quest "Wyverns of Land and Sky" (..

The weapons Eager cleaver or the SnS thundertip are good weapons to do it with.

You need to take these items with you:

Flash bombs and stuff to combine them (flash bug and bomb material)
Pitfall trap and stuff to combine them (net and trap tool (net= ivy + spiderweb))
Potions (and anything else that you can get your hands on that will heal your health, eg: herbs, mega potions, lifepowder...)
Power and mega juices
Antidotes

Your flash bombs and pitfalls will help you keep one of them busy while you attack the other. Use also the sleeping and paralyzing knifes you get in the supply box as well.

Potions are obvious, but make sure you choose the right time to heal, as getting it wrong can be costly

Power and mega juices, you will be doing alot of running and blocking, so they are an essential.

Antidotes, if the rathalos gets you with it's poison talons then the chances are you won't survive. If you do, you will need antidotes to cure you immediatly.


Go for the rathalos first, once you have killed it, then the rathian is easily finished. Always make sure you keep an eye on both of them. A technique I find useful when you are using a lance:

Take plently of power and mega juices with you. Stand on the ledge and hold down block.
Let them kill each other.
When one dies the other one shouldn't be in a good state, so jump down and finish it.

In this quest, blocking is better than dodging. Chances are that if you dodge one, the other one will be right behind ready to strike you. If you are blocking, because you have power and mega juices, you can hold them both off.

Finally try to take their tails off, it will give you a bit of breathing room.
