Get a different weapon like death prize (serpent bite and then the genpery upgrades) or a water atrib sns or get sword saint peircing if you don't like sns and want to use a gs

I reckon you could do it with Sentoryu Wolf, but An azure Rathalos is weakest againt dragon. Very weak infact, so if you have any dragon weapons, use them. It is also weak against thunder.

Your armour is fine.

An Azure Rathalos has exactly the same moves as a normal rathalos, except it like to fly around. Alot. The areas it will go between are areas 2, 3 and 7. They are only three areas, but they are at completely different corners to the map, so it is annoying, especially as it likes to move from area to area alot. I recommend you bring flash bombs (flash bug and bomb material)
Pitfall traps (net and trap tool)
And barrel bombs (sml, lrg, sml + and lrg +)

They will help to keep the damn thing on the ground. So er ya. I think a bowgun would be handy if you can use them effectivly. It is because he spends more time in the air, than on the ground.

Oh yeh. You get throwing knives in the supply box. Don't use them or waste them. When the Rathalos is weak, he will fly to area 7 and go to sleep on an island surronded by lava. You can't wake him (unless you have a bowgun) so you throw a knife at the Rathalos to wake him up. I threw a knife at it when it was asleep on the island, and I killed it, I couldn't carve the stupid thing �_�
