I need rubbery hides ASAP for my poison axe, any EASY way to kill a gyceperos..

It is an award that appears on the third page of your guild card, to say that you have completed all 1-2* village quests. Other than that it does not do anything.

Gypceros: the easiest one you come across is the 3* village quest (i presume this is the quest that you are trying to do)
If you have or can make any fire attribute weapons, make them because they kick it's sorry ass. If not, no biggy. Make sure to paintball it, even though it only goes between two areas. One important thing to watch out for. When it does it's chrage thing, you know the running around waving it's head like a headless chicken, stay out of it's way. You don't wanna get poisoned. When you see it is about to flash, snorts it's head from side to side three times, then either put away your weapon and sprint and jump, or get as far away from the it as possible so you do not get stunned.
It is just a simple case of jumping in, hitting it once or twice and then getting out of there by rolling. Most of his moves are pretty easy to dodge and you just need to wait, let him move first before you move in to attack him. I would recommend going for his legs, so you can trip him and hit him while he is down.
If it looks like he is dying but it doesn't say quest complete, then he is playing dead. It is a sign that he is weak, but do not go up and attack him. Run up to his head, and run away again, as this can hurt you alot if you get hit.
One last thing, watch out for the tail, it reaches further than it looks, and can get frustrating at times
