How do you know when a Rathalos is nearly dead?

1. The rathalos does limp like the kut ku when hes week so set the trap when he limps and while he's in, use the trank bombs on him.

2. Theres no easy way to beat a rathian, but I suggest a short sword (preferibly death prize or other stun weapon to get extra attacks in) and flash him to get loads of free attacks, but be carefull when fire starts coming out of his mouth and he starts jumping cos hes gone mad! Wait for him to calm down.

3. For power juice: combine rare steak and catalyst.and to get catalyst you combine bitterbug and honey.

4. Yes those eggs are on that quest. May I suggest that you get the back packing expert or the carry skill for this quest!!!

The rathalos does drag his legs around you just got to let him, when you are slashing him you will not see any sign of this. The rathian is pretty much the same as a rathalos so just use the same method I posted on this page on how to kill a rathalos. You get power juice by combining a catalyst and a rare steak, there is a 75% combining chance. If you want something even better than a power juice, you can make a mega juice by combining a power extract with a well done steak. You find the herbivore eggs in a bush in area 9.

I'm not sure about the rathalos but power juice is cataylist and rare steak ad the herbivore eggs are in area 8
