Ok, the talking gargoyles are all over...one is on the balcony on the 4th floor, one is up the stairs in the paved ctyd, one is in transfiguration, one is on the edge by the stone bridge, and one is up by defense against the dark arts. Then tell dean you've found them all. In herbology, you need to get the mandrake root, which you can't do without the earmuff things, then you need to go out into the transfiguration ctyd and pick the 2 moly plants there, then you need to go down to hagrid's hut and pick 3 more moly plants there. (while on your way, you should duel the people by the stone circle, and down by hagrid's hut, cast wingardium leviosa on the pumpkin and put it over the boy's head, then press 'x'.) after you've picked all 5 moly plants and gotten the mandrake root, you'll need to go down to potions and give them to the guy. (while you're down there, you might as well go into the little room thing that's down the hall and do the task, for the boy. There is also a copy of the daily prophet in that room with the boy, but don't forget to go back and tell the boy that you gave the chick the flowers.)
