Question for God of War: Ghost of Sparta

I am at The Gates Of Crete. I cannot get past these guards with the shields. I try using the Thera's Bane, but it does not de-shield them so I can kill them off, and only lasts three tries. I Parry my butt off and can manage to get one or two, then two come up to replace them. Getting tired of dying repeatedly here, there has to be a trick to taking these guys out other than using Parry and the Thera's Bane.

Quickest way to kill them is (first) power up your Thera's Bane to level 2, (second) when you face them, get them close and push your (are) with the triangle and keep repeating that to remove their shields and then kill them off. (Do not) use any magical powers on them, they will just die & come back again & again. At first, you think will never kill them but if you keep using Thera's Bane with those 2 buttons, you will kill them all. Good Luck!!!

U are supposed to use thera's bane, what I did was the plume of prometheus (square, square, triangle) with thera's bane on.
