I am stuck, I have been sailing around and walking around in what seems to be cricles. Where do I find the nitro powder?

You get it after you give the jolt potion to the elf prince, he'll give you a mystic key which will open a door to the east of his room. The nitro powder is in there. And in case you don't know where the jolt potion is you get it from matoya after you give her the glass eye which astos stole.
