Question for Dragoneers Aria

How do you collect the monsters "Souls"? All I under stand is I have to beat the avatar so many times but I have beat this one like 15 times and have yet to get it...Please help!

Yes I am having that problem also I can't get the monster souls even though I fought them alot I have fought the hydra avatar 18 times and havent gotten it I have been counting the other ones

In order to get the souls, first you must find one of the avatars. After defeating that avatar, do not leave the area. The key to getting the souls is NOT TO LEAVE TO AREA!!! After either defeating 10 avatars or 10 avatars and a soul (example: Ten Spriggan avatars and a Spriggan soul which is only slightly more powerful) you will receive the soul of that avatar (it's a lusce) and be able to equip it to the character of your choice.

One more thing: when I say don't leave the area, I mean it!!! You must run around the area and press the left or right directional arrow in order to determine which enemy is an avatar/avatar soul. The enemies constantly move and respawn as new enemies so you must continuously check!!!

If you leave the area will the number of avatars that you battled go back to 0?
