Question for Avatar: The Last Airbender

In chapter 7 there is a mission called "sealed up" when you find the cavern. As you defeat the 4 giant machines you get the text "i heard smthing from very far away". How far and where is this spot that the text tells us?

It's just within the cavern if you had passed huge boulders that's blocking the way( after entering the entrance of the cavern you'll see it at the 3rd platform). You can only access that route if you defeat all the 4 Machines.
Note: if you die/pass out that route will be blocked again.
If you'd entered that route you'll be in an endless sort of... Platforms and the only way to go back is enteeing the bottom.

I have beaten every machine that exists and still didnt get the message. I still cant enter the cavern in the south
